Wheat porridge (godhumai kanji)
Ingredients
- wheat flour -1 tblsp
- Water -1/2 cup
- Jaggery -1 tsp
- Ghee -1 tsp
Procedure
- Take 1 tblsp of wheat flour with a tsp of jaggery dissolved in water, along with a tsp of ghee
- Stir all these well, without any lumps; then keep it in a low flame for few minutes until it reaches smooth and creamy consistency
- It is ready to be served now.
Serving suggestion
- Once your baby is ok to start with solid foods like rice based items, you can start this meal with a little thin consistency
- You can gradually increases your feeding level and consistency
- Feed your baby, when the porridge is luke warm
