All-In-One Kashayam

Ingredients:

  • Fresh turmeric – ¼ cup (sliced)
  • Fresh ginger – ¼ cup (sliced)
  • Cinnamon – 1 tblsp
  • Cardamom – 4-5 nos
  • Whole black peppercorns – 2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Carom seeds/ omam/ ajwain – 1 tsp
  • Cloves – 4-5 nos
  • Star anise- 1 no
  • Palm sugar/ palm jaggery (optional)
  • Water – 3 cups

Procedure:

  • Grind coarsely all the ingredients using a mortar-pestle or a mixer jar (ref pic)

  • Boil 3 cups or more water in a sauce pan and add the crushed ingredients into the boiling water and allow it to boil for about 7-8 mins (ref pic)

  • Filter the kashayam and serve hot, add some palm sugar/jaggery for kids if needed.
  • The complete pack of antioxidants and healthy “ALL-IN-ONE KASHAYAM” is ready.

NOTE/TIP:

  • If you intake this kashayam once in a week; it will helps to build and boost your immunity
  • Do not intake more than 25 -50 ml of this kashayam.
