Ingredients:
- Apple puree – 5 cups
- Banana puree – 1 cup
- Strawberry puree – 2 cups
- Pear puree – 2 cups
- Granulated sugar – 3 cups
- Lemon juice – 2 tblsp
Procedure:
- Apple puree – wash and peel the apples and cut into pieces and grind it smoothly and keep aside
- Banana Puree – peel the bananas and grind it smoothly
- Strawberry puree – wash and trim the head off and cut into pieces and grind it smoothly
- Pear Puree – wash and peel the pears and cut into pieces and grind it smoothly
- Add all the puree into a heavy bottomed vessel and cook it under medium flame for about 40 – 50 mins (stir often to avoid scorching)
- Now add the granulated sugar and cook it further for about 40- 50 mins (stir often to avoid scorching) or until it reaches its consistency (the consistency should be spreadable)
- Turn off the heat and cool completely before transferring into an air tight container.
- Enjoy the luscious, super delicious, homemade “FALL Celebration Fruit JAM” with some freshly baked bread.
NOTE/TIP:
- always cover the pan with a lid, while doing any kind of JAM to protect the kitchen surface
- You can adjust the sugar according to your taste.
- If you add more sugar then add lemon juice accordingly to avoid caramelization.
- The mentioned quantity might be little high, you can reduce the volume and add sugar and lemon juice with respect to it.
