Fall Fruit Jam

Ingredients:

  • Apple puree – 5 cups
  • Banana puree – 1 cup
  • Strawberry puree – 2 cups
  • Pear puree – 2 cups
  • Granulated sugar – 3 cups
  • Lemon juice – 2 tblsp

Procedure:

  • Apple puree – wash and peel the apples and cut into pieces and grind it smoothly and keep aside
  • Banana Puree – peel the bananas and grind it smoothly
  • Strawberry puree – wash and trim the head off and cut into pieces and grind it smoothly
  • Pear Puree – wash and peel the pears and cut into pieces and grind it smoothly
  • Add all the puree into a heavy bottomed vessel and cook it under medium flame for about 40 – 50 mins (stir often to avoid scorching)
  • Now add the granulated sugar and cook it further for about 40- 50 mins (stir often to avoid scorching) or until it reaches its consistency (the consistency should be spreadable)
  • Turn off the heat and cool completely before transferring into an air tight container.
  • Enjoy the luscious, super delicious, homemade “FALL Celebration Fruit JAM” with some freshly baked bread.

NOTE/TIP:

  • always cover the pan with a lid, while doing any kind of JAM to protect the kitchen surface
  • You can adjust the sugar according to your taste.
  • If you add more sugar then add lemon juice accordingly to avoid caramelization.
  • The mentioned quantity might be little high, you can reduce the volume and add sugar and lemon juice with respect to it.
