MIXED FRUIT JAM
Mixed fruit jam – Fruits are naturally low in calories and absolutely no cholesterol and fruits are rich in vitamin C, folic acid and dietary fiber. When it comes to JAM, it is absolutely a GUILTY PLEASURE, but with the natural flavors from these fruits.
Here is the recipe for the healthy, tasty MIXED FRUIT JAM.
Ingredient
- Apple – 1 no
- Orange – 1 no
- Banana – 1 no
- Kiwi – 2 no
- Granulated sugar – 3/4 cup
- Lemon juice – 1 tblsp
- Salt – a pinch
Procedure
- Step 1: Wash all the fruits thoroughly
- Step 2: Peel and dice the fruits and mash it well using a masher
- Step 3: In a medium sauce pan, add all the fruit along with required amount of sugar for about 20-30 mins.
- Step 4: Stir frequently to avoid scorching
- Step 5: When the bubbles become smaller and the consistency of the JAM became thicker, your JAM is all set; now you can add lemon juice and salt to avoid crystallization.
- Step 6: Cool completely and store it into a clean and airtight container, you can keep this for a month period (always use a dry spoon for more life of the product)
NOTE
- You can add your favorite fruit too.
- Do not add any food color, to keep it natural
