Strawberry Jam
Strawberries – the name itself gives you the freshness and the unique flavor. Some of the surprising benefits of strawberries – (i) it helps to improve your vision (ii) boost your immune system and brain function (iii) also prevents from cancer.
Who doesn’t like strawberries, here is a quick recipe for the most appealing and tasty Strawberry jam.
Ingredient
- Strawberries – 8 oz
- Granulated sugar – 3/4 cup
- Lemon juice – 1 tblsp
- Salt – a pinch
Procedure
- Step 1: Wash the strawberries thoroughly
- Step 2: Cut the strawberries into halves.
- Step 3: In a sauce pan, add the halved strawberries along with required amount of sugar, bring it to boil for about 20-30 mins.
- Step 4 : Stir frequently to avoid scorching
- Step 5: When the bubbles become smaller and the consistency of the JAM became thicker, your JAM is all set; now you can add the lemon juice and salt to avoid crystallization.
- Step 6: Cool completely and store it into a clean and airtight container; you can keep this for a month period (always use a dry spoon for more life of the product)
