BROCCOLI-VEGGIE SOUP
- This soup has broccoli, carrot and potato, making this a colorful, creamy, veggie and a very healthy soup, especially for your babies.
- Broccoli is a very good source of dietary fiber and it is also a good source of vitamin B1, magnesium, omega-3 fatty acids, protein, zinc, calcium, iron, niacin and selenium. Not only for babies, if you include this in your regular meal, it will help you to boost your hair growth.
- Carrot is a rich source of powerful anti-oxidant and also it helps to increase the saliva and helps to supply the essential vitamins and minerals. Carrots are named for beta-carotene and fiber as well.
- Potato is a good source of potassium than what is obtained in a banana; banana is rich in vitamin C and B6 as well. Potatoes are named for resistant starch too.

Ingredients
- Broccoli – 1/2 cup
- Carrot – ¼ cup
- Potato – ¼ cup
- Butter – 1 tsp
- Small onion – 2 (small finely chopped)
- Garlic – 2 pods(small finely chopped)
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Whole Milk – 1 cup
- Salt – a pinch
Procedure
- Put the broccoli florets in super-hot water for a minute or so, in order to kill the germs
- Heat the kadai/pan, put about a tsp of butter; once the butter is melted then add cumin seeds; let it splutter; the add the finely chopped garlic and shallots/small onions and sauté for a minute
- Later add the broccoli florets, cut carrots and potatoes and saute for about 2 minutes
- Add about a cup of room temperature boiled milk to the veggie mixture, add salt to taste
- Bring it to boil until the florets and veggies are tender
- After this, let it cool down for a while
- Grind well using a small mixie jar
- Add pepper to the end stage and serve warm (strain the soup for more smoothy and silky texture)
