Cinnamon French Toast

Ingredients:

  • Bread loaves – 4 nos
  • Whole milk – 1 cup
  • Egg – 1 no (room temperature)
  • Dark brown sugar – 2-3 tblsp
  • Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence – ½ tsp (optional)
  • Butter – 1 tblsp
  • Confectionery sugar – 2 tsp (for topping/optional)

Procedure:

  • In a flat/shallow bowl, add the room temperature egg and sugar, mix well using a whisk or a hand mixer; once the egg and sugar incorporated well add the whole milk along with some vanilla essence and a tsp of cinnamon powder; mix well
  • Heat a flat pan/ griddle, grease with some butter on medium flame.
  • Dip the bread (one at a time) into the egg mixture and put it on the butter greased pan; allow it to cook for about couple of mins on both the sides.
  • Once the bread turned into golden brown in color, remove it from the pan
  • The simple, easy and super tasty “CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST” is ready to serve

  • Serve hot; Drizzle some honey/ maple syrup or simply dust it with some powdered sugar.
