//SUPER SOFT,NO KNEAD,EGGLESS DINNER ROLLS WITH STEP WISE PICTURE//
Ingredients:
- All-purpose flour – 2 cups
- Warm milk – ½ cup
- Warm water – 1/3 cup
- Granulated sugar – 2 tblsp
- Salt – 1tsp
- Yeast – 1 tsp
- Softened unsalted butter –2 tblsp + 1 tblsp (for topping)
Procedure:
- Preheat the oven to 375˚F
- Line a parchment sheet on a square pan and keep aside
- In a stand mixer bowl, add sugar and yeast into the warm milk and water and keep it for 5 mins until the yeast gets activate.
- Later sieve the all-purpose flour along with salt and 2 tblsp of softened butter into the milk mixture
- Start the mixer at lower speed until all incorporated well
- Now speed up the mixer for about 8-10 mins until the dough attains the fine elasticity texture without tear apart (ref pic)
- cover and allow the dough to rise doubled in size (approx 40 mins- ref pic)
- Divide the dough into 16 equal parts (ref pic) and fold it gently as shown in the pic
- Arrange the folded dough into the prepared square pan gently – ref pic; cover it with a cloth and Allow it to rest for 15mins (ref pic)
- Degas each wedge (Working with one wedge at a time), fold the edges into the middle, forming a small pouch. Place the ball of dough seam-side down on your work surface, cup your hand over it, and lightly roll it into a ball, using the friction of your working surface to help with the rounding
- Arrange all the rolls into the baking pan and allow it rise for another 30-40 mins(ref pic)
- Grate about a tblsp of cold butter and topped it over the dinner rolls (ref pic)
- Bake it for about 18-20 mins;
- Apply about a tsp of butter over the hot buns/ rolls.
- The super-soft, easy and fluffy homemade delicious “EGGLESS DINNER ROLLS” are ready to serve
- For better taste, serve when it is hot.
NOTES/TIPS:
- It suits well even for all Indian bun snacks like vada pav, pav bhaji or simply with a cup of coffee; simply delicious.
- If you are plan to eat it as it is; then add a couple tblsp of sugar for more sweeter side or even honey works well
- Store it in an air tight container; usually breads lifetime is very short; finish it as soon as possible.
- You can freeze these goodies for months
- You can use bread flour instead of all-purpose flour
