Neer Dosa

//NO FERMENT INSTANT Dosa Batter//

Ingredients:

  • Raw Rice – 1 cup
  • Freshly grated coconut – 1/3 cup
  • Salt – to taste
  • Water – as req

Procedure:

  • Wash and soak the rice for about 4 hours
  • Grind the rice along with the freshly grated coconut into a fine paste

  • Add required salt and water into the batter (the batter should be too thin and pourable; ref pic)

  • Heat the dosa pan (the pan should be super hot), take a ladle full of batter and pour it on the hot dosa pan and cover it with a lid and cook it for about a min

  • The thin, soft and easy “NEER DOSA” is ready to serve

NOTE/TIP:

  • the batter should be too thin and watery at the same time the dosa pan should be hot ;otherwise you won’t get the perfect texture
  • You can use even idli rice or regular rice.
