I have tried the most best ways to feed this banana to my lil one,she is very particular about it and finally I found one new way and that turned as Banana Halwa.very simple and healthy sweet for our lil ones. you can make this within few mins so, Banana always be there at our kitchen counter top so we can make this sweet at anytime. a quick and easy recipe.
Ingredients:
- Banana -2 (ripped is preferable)
- Brown Sugar/jaggery -1/4 cup
- Ghee -1tblsp
- Cashews -5nos(finely chopped)
- Caradamom powder/elaichi-a pinch
- Salt -a pinch
Procedure:
Step 1:
Mash the ripped banana in a large bowl and add the jaggery/brown sugar into it
Step 2:
Add the mashed banana and jaggery/brown sugar mixture into a heavy bottomed vessel,wait until it starts bubbling now add ghee little by little.
Step 3:
Scrap the edges often at the final stage add the cardamom/elaichi powder and a pinch of salt and ends with a tsp of ghee along with ghee roasted cashews .BANANA HALWA is ready to serve
How to know the halwa consistency:
Take a pinch of halwa in between your fingers and if you can make a ball out of it, then your halwa is ready
