Mini tri-color Veggie idli:
Mini Idli so called Baby Idli exclusively for our lil ones. This tri-color idli is super delicious, healthy, colorful, and easy to grab and eat for your toddlers even for your babies. There is no food color in this recipe, try this healthy homemade tri color idli and here is the recipe
Ingredient:
- Idli batter – 3 cups
- Beetroot puree (blanched) – 3tblsp
- Spinach puree (blanched) – 3tblsp
- Carrot puree (blanched) – 3tblsp
- Ghee – for greasing
Procedure:
Step 1:
Take 3 cups of IDLI BATTER in 3 separate sups
Step 2:
In a sauce pan blanch beetroot, carrot, and spinach separately and puree it
Step 3:
Add the veggie puree into the idli batter respectively and gently fold the batter donot over beat (you won’t get the fluffy idli)
Step 4:
Now grease the mini idli moulds with ghee/ gingelly oil and pour the tri-color idli batter gently and steam it for 5-8 mins. Serve it as it is or with any sambar or chutney
