COCONUT CHUTNEY:
Ingredients:
- Grated coconut – 1cup
- Green chili – 2 nos
- Roasted gram – 2 tblsp
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Salt – as req
- Water – as req
Tempering:
- Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp
- Dry Red chili – 1 no
- Urad dhal – ½ tsp
- Coconut oil – 1tsp
- Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Procedure:
- In a small mixie jar add grated coconut, green chili, roasted gram, ginger and salt. Grind it smoothly( add water as req)
- Transfer into a bowl, meanwhile place a small kadai add some coconut oil, once the oil get hot add mustard seeds and urad dhal, let it splutter now add the broken red chilies and curry leaves and pour the mixture into the chutney. Enjoy with hot idlis/ vadai.
