Post wedding we have a very special custom from the bride’s family to the Birde,some of the most important functions/festivals during the 1st year of marriage
NOTE
- For all the festivals the bridegroom’s parents must repay the respect (so called ethir mariyathai) to the bride’s family
- Wherever necessary the bridegroom’s family shower their blessing to their beloved son and daughter-in-law along with set of new dress(Ex: Thala Deepavali,Thala Pongal)
