These are the basic seer and custom that we will follow post-delivery. This is by default for the first two children are born (might vary depends on the health and wealth in the Bride’s family)
Bride’s Side(Pen Veettar)
- Manjal,kunkumam along with manjal kayiru& kizhangu manjal, thengai ,poo,pazham,beetal leaves & nut,money
- Hospital Expenses
- Dress for the newborn
- Gold jewelry for the new born (chain,ring,bangle)
- Silver jewelry for the new born(anklet, Araignaan Kayiru)
- New born accessory set(includes kajal,vasambu kayiru,black/red rope)
- Arisi kajal(homemade and handmade –my family tradition)
- Sweet / Chocalate for distribution
Bridegroom’s side (Mappillai Veettar)::

- Gold chain and ring
- Silver anklet
