Cake Pops

Ingredients:

  • Any cake – 2 cups
  • Vanilla butter cream – ½ cup
  • Mixed nuts – ½ cup
  • White chocolate – 1 cup
  • Dark chocolate – 1 cup
  • Sugar sprinkles – ½ cup
  • Lollipop sticks – 10 nos
  • Brown sugar – 1 pound
  • Medium bowl – 1
  • Ice cream scoop – 1

Procedure:

  • In a wide mixing bowl add the cooled cake, crumble it nicely and add the vanilla butter cream along with some toasted finely chopped mixed nuts
  • Mix thoroughly and you will able to form a mass dough. Cover it with a plastic wrap
  • Now take medium ice cream scoop for even shape, scoop one ball at a time, insert a lollipop stick in the center and shape it finely until it hold its shape.
  • Repeat the process for the remaining cake mixture. Refrigerate for at least an hour before frosting.
  • Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate and dark chocolate by means of double boiler/ Bain Marie method/ microwave it for about 60-70 seconds.
  • By using a spatula, mix the melted white and dark chocolate thoroughly without any lumps and strain the chocolates into a separate bowl and keep aside.
  • In a medium bowl, add the brown sugar to keep the frosted POPS
  • Take one pop at a time and dip it into the melted chocolates as desired and sprinkle some sugar sprinkles over the coated chocolate for more decoration.
  • Place the chocolate coated Cake POPs over the Brown sugar bed. Refrigerate until serve.
  • Simple and chocolaty CAKE POPS are ready to serve.
