// Quick and easy super soft and fluffy//
Ingredients:
- Bread flour – 2 ½ cups
- Warm milk – 2/3 cup
- Granulated sugar – 2 ½ tblsp
- Salt – 1¼ tsp
- Yeast – 1 tsp
- Egg – 2 nos
- Softened unsalted butter –3 ½ tblsp + ½ tblsp
Procedure:
- Preheat the oven to 375˚F
- Line a parchment sheet on a square pan and keep aside
- In a stand mixer bowl, add sugar and yeast into the warm milk along with one room temperature egg and 3 ½ tblsp of room temperature unsalted butter.
- Later sieve the bread flour along with salt into the milk mixture.
- Start the mixer at lower speed until all incorporated well
- Now speed up the mixer for about 8-10 mins until the dough attains the fine elasticity texture without tear apart (ref pic)
- Divide the dough into nine equal parts and wrap it gently as shown in the pic
- take each dough and make it into a ball shape and arrange the folded dough into the prepared square pan gently – ref pic; cover it with a cloth and Allow it to rise double in size approx one hour (ref pic)
- Break another egg into a bowl and add a lil of cold water, mix well and brush it over the raised dinner rolls.
- Bake it for about 18-20 mins;
- Apply the rest of the butter over the hot buns/ rolls.
- The super-soft, easy and fluffy homemade delicious “DINNER ROLLS” are ready to serve
- For better taste, serve when it is hot.
NOTES/TIPS:
- It suits well for even for all Indian bun snacks like vada pav, pav bhaji or simply with a cup of coffee; simply delicious.
- If you are plan to eat it as it is; then add a couple tblsp of sugar for more sweeter side or even honey works well
- Store it in an air tight container; usually breads lifetime is very short; finish it as soon as possible.
