Dry Ingredients:
- All Purpose Flour – 2 ¼ cup
- Granulated sugar – ¾ cup
- Light brown sugar – ¾ cup
- Semi sweet Choco chip – 2 cups
- Baking soda – ¾ tsp
- Salt – ½ tsp
Wet Ingredients:
- butter – ½ cup
- egg – 1 no
- vanilla extract – 1tsp
Procedure:
- Pre-heat the oven at 375 degree F
- Line the sheet pans with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter (either in microwave or sauce pan) and in a mixing bowl, add granulated sugar, brown sugar and the melted butter. Beat until light and fluffy using hand mixer or stand mixer.
- Add egg to the sugar mixture and beat until it is combined together; add a tsp of vanilla essence while mixing.
- Now add the flour, salt and baking soda to the egg-sugar mixture. Beat until it is combined together.
- Finally add the 2 cups of semi-sweet choco chips to the flour and do a very gently mix; use ice-cream scoop for scooping the dough into even size balls
- Roll the dough into balls and place over the parchment lined sheet pans with 2 inch apart.
- Bake it for about 10-12 mins until it is done.
- Cool completely and enjoy the lusciousness of chocolate chip cookies
NOTE:
- Since we are adding brown sugar, cookie should be slight soft and chewy.
- You can even add some chopped nuts to give a crispy twist and take your cookie to another level.
- You can even add the room temperature butter rather than melted butter, if you need your cookie to be more soft
- Store the cookie in an air tight container and you can keep it for 15 days over the kitchen counter.
