The kitchen is the most often used area than other area in your house. I’m very particular about cleanliness and organization and I use to clean and organize my home very often. Here are the some basic tips and things that are mandatory for a neat and organized kitchen and this will be helpful for someone who want to create your own kitchen from scratch.

  • How to select your cookware

Match your cookware to your cooktop, the cooktop would be Gas Top,Glass Top,Induction Top,Coil top etc., flat bottomed pans are the most popular. If you have an induction cooktop, cookware with magnetic properties is a must.Buy the product along with magnetic influenze.

ESSENTIAL COOKWARES:

NOTE

Do some homework before you are going to buy the kitchen cookwares,

Make sure about the product you are going to buy that doesnot contain any

PFOA perfluorooctanoic acid also called C8,this usually add as a synthetic fluropolymer along with PTFE (Polytetrfluroethylene).mostly we found this on Non-stick pans.This leads to severe health issues.

ESSSENTIAL COOKWARES FOR YOUR KITCHEN

How to organize your kitchen

  • Make sure that you have the following basic things in your home before organizing your kitchen,this might helpful to everyone especially for indian kitchen

SPECIAL NOTE

Always use/keep separate pan/bowls and ladles/spoons for the following, for sure you can feel the difference

  • Milk – inorder to avoid curdling
  • Sweets – to get the perfect texture/taste/smell(ex: paal kova)
  • Deep frying- always use wide and deep vessel to get the perfect fried texture
  • White rice- we consider rice as Goddess Lakshmi so we always keep a separate vessel and we rinse it separately too.
  • Non veg- we usually add more masala to our non-veg, keeping separate vessel will help you for get a better taste and texture(ex: mann pathiram (mud vessel))
  • Veg- this is purely optional I prefer separate cookware’s for vegetarian, that will helpful for me during Pooja
  • Curd- for CURD,GHEE,MILK always use/keep a separate vessel to avoid curdling or Easy spoiling
  • Idli/dosa batter- steel preferable for quick fermentation, BPA free-plastic for keeping the batter fresh for long time (1 week or so)
